Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the FATEON platform (fateon.net) operated by Konnect Corp. (Korean: 주식회사 코네트, Business Reg. No. 275-88-02518, 26 Hakdong-ro 101-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea; "Konnect", "we", "us").

By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Minimum age: 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country, whichever is higher) to make purchases. Users aged 14–17 may access free features with parental consent.

FATEON offers (a) a monthly Plus Subscription and (b) one-time Point Packs (in-app credits).

All products are digital and delivered instantly inside the FATEON web application.

Content (saju reports, compatibility analyses, tarot reflection cards) is AI-generated for entertainment and self-discovery purposes only. It is not professional advice of any kind.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Paddle terms apply to payment processing and VAT/tax collection. FATEON never stores card details.

Plus Subscription is billed monthly on the same calendar date as the original sign-up. If that date does not exist in a given month (e.g., 31st), billing occurs on the last day of that month.

Point Packs are one-time charges settled at the moment of purchase.

Prices are displayed in USD and may vary by region to reflect local taxes. All applicable taxes (VAT, GST, etc.) are calculated and collected by Paddle at checkout.

You authorise FATEON and Paddle to charge your selected payment method for all applicable fees.

IMPORTANT: Your Plus Subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.

How to cancel (same ease as sign-up): while signed in, open Settings → Billing at fateon.net/settings/billing to launch Paddle’s customer portal and turn off auto-renewal. You may also use the portal link in any Paddle receipt email, or email info@fateon.net with subject "Cancel Subscription" and your account email.

Cancellation must be received at least 24 hours before the renewal date to take effect for that cycle.

Upon cancellation, access continues until the end of the paid period; no prorated refund is issued unless our Refund Policy applies.

We send a renewal reminder email 3 days before each charge.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy (fateon.net/refund). The key provisions are: (a) subscription cancellation within 7 days of billing is eligible for a full refund; (b) unspent Point Packs may be refunded within 7 days of purchase.

Refund requests must be submitted to info@fateon.net with your transaction ID.

Points are a virtual currency valid solely for in-service use. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred, gifted, or withdrawn.

FATEON may modify point pricing or costs with 14 days notice. Existing purchased points are honoured at their original redemption rates during any transition period.

Points do not expire while your account is active.

All FATEON outputs — including saju reports, compatibility scores, tarot interpretations, and oracle readings — are generated by artificial intelligence for entertainment and cultural exploration purposes.

FATEON does NOT provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other professional advice. No output should be used as the basis for real-world decisions.

Saju and related frameworks are traditional cultural systems. FATEON AI-generated interpretations are creative, probabilistic outputs — not predictions or factual statements about the future.

All platform content, branding, designs, and AI model outputs are owned by or licensed to FATEON.

You may not reproduce, sell, or redistribute FATEON content without written permission.

User-submitted data (birth dates, photos) remains yours; you grant FATEON a licence to process it to deliver the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FATEON total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to these Terms is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid FATEON in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50.

FATEON is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g., death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes not resolved by mutual agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea.

EU and UK consumers retain any mandatory consumer rights under their local law that cannot be overridden by choice-of-law clauses.

FATEON may update these Terms with 14 days notice by email or an in-app banner.

Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
